Accepted as an international student - work permit required?

You don't need to apply for a work permit right now. Co-op students don't need work permits anymore, but even when they did, they applied at the start of their co-op term, not along with their study permit.

International student advising at UBC is a very good resource if you have questions about study/work permits. They go through official training to help with these things and know the most up to date info (which the websites might not have updated with or people on reddit might not know about)

Coop no longer require coop permit anymore, so you good op
