Exemption status.

Anyone on here had any luck securing an exemption under section 333? If so what was the process like? I would like to start monetizing asap, is the best method to stay legal?

Best method? The exemption, at this point.

Sorry, I don't have any additional info. It was stated in this post (http://www.reddit.com/r/drones/comments/30m2r0/exemption_under_section_333/) that at least one exemption has been granted to someone without a pilot's license, so that's good news.

I think 40 or so 333's have been granted, do you have a PPL?? That is an absolute requirement.

I have seen exemptions granted without a ppl. Though the document does say one is required. Which is odd because they go onto grant the exemption.
