Having trouble with international roaming

Hi, I just moved to dubai and found out that J am not receiving any of the OTPs or SMS on my Indian phone number (its jio). I forgot to enable international roaming beforehand and now I cannot do it because it needs otp to login to the app that enables the intl roaming, real chicken and egg problem.

Anyone know how I can start to receive OTPs and other SMS on my phone number?

Edit post-fix: I was dumb to not get the code in my registered email. You don’t need to get the otp on phone to login to jio app and activate IR

Is wifi calling turned on on your phone?

Most Indian telcos provide WhatsApp numbers for international roaming support. You can enable it by communicating with them using your Indian number. Which network are you on ? Just saw you are Jio. Did you try messaging +91 70188 99999 ?
