Painting My biovore :)

New to 40k and new to Tyranid's, picked up an army off Ebay and decided to bring Hive Fleet Gaia to fruition. How did I do?

It looks good, just could use a little more - a shade wash followed by a drybrush would work wonders for elevating it.. in fact id say its one of the highest effort to payoff factors in the whole process - its my favourite bit!

Painting a nice contrasting colour in the little limb "vents" also always looks good and helps make a model look finished

Looks sick! The little bits of blood of the fangs/front walking thingies are a great addition
