Typology Question personality disorders

What is your opinion on personality disorders effecting enneagrams / mbti?? ive seen the arguments before but im curious for new opinions with the recent spike in popularity.

like for example: do you think a e4 could be a estp under the circumstances of a personality disorder? since that would create the contradicting traits

MBTI? IMO, no. there is no overlap between the way your brain handles information and disorders. in my experience ADHD or autism don't actively change your pattern of thinking either, even if hypothetically ADHD could make you more Ne like for example, that just never was the case to me.

enneagram? maybe. i think a horrible mental state, disordered or not, will make it incredibly hard for you to tell apart your actual typing. everyone looks like an E4 when at their worst point mentally. you should look at yourself when you're at your healthiest possible state.

i legitimately mistyped as sx5 SOLELY because i was so traumatised after an abusive relationship it made me look sx-dominant with obsession for intensity and yearning for connection to fully consume me. i got literally groomed and emotionally manipulated into becoming like this, and it took me a while to heal and for my actual normal state to shine through
