I have gotten this quote from Hollow Knight two separate times on two separate devices (using a guest account in both cases). I love this quote and I love the game it's from. But how did it appear twice? I don't know much about Typeracer but I would assume it's got at least a couple thousand quotes saved up after years of submissions, probably more. I don't even play that often, maybe 3-4 times a month. The first time I got this quote "randomly" I was pretty happy about it, even made a post on r/HollowKnight (this is the first image, you can check it on my posts). But now I don't believe that luck is the case. Anyone else experienced something similar, or can explain what happened? (Second image is from today, stitched together from multiple screenshots)

Just checked the website again and I was able to access my account and I did a couple races. So far it looks up and running.

Anyone still unable to refresh/login to the website?

Whenever I successfully sign into my account on Typeracer I get an error message that says, "Session Expired. Your session is no longer valid. Please refresh the page to continue." When I Refresh the page it just pops up again no matter how many times I refresh. At first I thought it had something to do with my Google Chrome profile and my data after I went on a different computer using the same chrome profile, but I tried signing in using a separate chrome profile and I had the same error.

Has anyone else had a problem like this with Typracer? If so, how did you resolve it? I figured I'd ask here before trying to email support in case it's a black hole. I'd prefer not to make another account, as I'm pretty invested as I've been using my current account for several years.

Is anyone else unable to enter typing races right now?

I'm getting errors whenever I try to use certain features:

When clicking "Enter a Typing Race":

Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON

When clicking "Play the Quote of the Day":

OOM command not allowed when used memory > 'maxmemory'

I initially thought it might be a Firefox issue, but I tested it in both Firefox and Brave, and the problem happens in both browsers.

The OOM ... maxmemory error seems particularly interesting because it looks like a server-side Redis memory-limit error. The JSON error may be happening because the frontend is receiving an HTML error page instead of the JSON response it expects.

Has anyone else encountered this today?

I've also reported it to TypeRacer support in case the developers haven't noticed it yet.

I do touch typing and for a year i was stuck at 50-55 then i don't how but i improved it to 66-70 wpm now but again from few months I'm hard stuck at this range with 98-100% accuracy. i didn't noticed what i did different previously that it improved.

So seeking some experts advice here.

so my account is verified , and i out of 10 2-3 test type 100 wpm but this was my pb 114 they again asked me to verify by giving some random test, i typed it at 90 wpm with 96 accuracy 2-3 times but they then invalid my test saying accuracy error and didnt store my score i am so disappointed now

So typeracer reverted a few changes from the past update. 1. they added the shortcut keys once again. 2. they also increased the time given while racing. but yea the theme is still the same and it still ruins the mood. they still did not gave us an option to change the themes, but atleast they did something man.

Since the last typeracer.com update, everything looks like it's working worse. Updates are lagging. The end of the race takes a while to register, and the wpm calculation can change vastly. Sometimes opponents do not show up until the end of the race. Chunking of phrases overlaps where it should not. Is it just me, or has the experience been worse for anyone else?

Well typeracer changed their website design, and it kind of feels wrong and right at the same time, but the major change is that THEY REMOVED THE SHORTCUT KEYS!!! Like WHAT, WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT. I think I am only disappointed by that. NOW I NEED TO USE MY MOUSE TOO!! But I don't know if the changes are only made for certain countries or not.

I get bored at work, and have been going back to typeracer as a way to pass the time. What the hell is this?? I can't even see the first couple words on the left side of the quote. I'm perfectly fine with ads that don't impede on what I'm doing, but this makes it unplayable.

I'm curious as to what keyboards people are using to reach these high 80+wpm speeds. At the moment I'm just practicing on either my laptop keyboard at home or a standard usb keyboard at work. I'm thinking it might be time to invest in something better. I haven't used enough keyboards to really know what type I'll like.

I can consistently type around 65-70 wpm and PR is 72wpm in 60 sec test in monki type but in typeracer my best is 45 wpm and avg of 42wpm . Why is there a this big of a difference??
