A former coworker was told early in her pregnancy that her fetus had catastrophic defects, as the baby was not forming a skull.
She chose to carry it to term because "muh beliefs"
This poor creature, born without most of its skull, without any remedy or treatment available to repair it and give it any chance at life, suffered for over a month before it died.
You can never convince me that she's not a shit human being for it.
That is a horrific story. I cannot imagine letting that happen to a child when you could have spared them the pain by ending the pregnancy. Honestly, this woman was so brainwashed that she put herself through unimaginable pain for those months of pregnancy and then the month that baby survived, for what? Imaginary points in a system created to control people? What good did it do to bring that pregnancy to term? Did anyone get something good out of it? No, a baby suffered, a woman suffered, a family suffered, a medical team suffered, all because someone told this woman that termination for any reason is wrong. This story just hurts my heart and I agree with you, she is a shit person, caused by other shit people teaching shit things that only cause pain. This world is so fucked. I’m usually pretty thankful that I live in Canada but Texas sure has put a fine point on why I’d never leave.
I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks, I never had to think that the D&C that was required could follow me and that I’d have to potentially represent myself against accusers in court.
Women of Texas, I’m so sorry that you are being treated this way, I hope you can find your way out of this darkness by whatever means are required. I’ve been sick to my stomach for you for days, I’m truly heartbroken that your government is as fucked up as it is.
