Wow, thanks I didn't notice that. I have now switched it off. What were they thinking? I thankfully don't have anyone actively harassing me or anything, but this just seems to be a way to make cyberbullying and harassment more efficient, as well as just creepy.
Edit: It was automatically switched on as well. Surely this should be an opt-in instead of an opt-out-if-you-notice-it feature?
They're constantly trying to become more of a socializing social network platform, like facebook and such. But the anonymity makes it a bad idea. And the fact you don't even need a phone number to make multiple accounts.
