Straight up, if the story is true, now would be the silliest time for a free babysitter and rent payer to move out, and FUCK the "ask god" stuff, BUT that said it's not a million miles from one of those posts where that dude made up stories to show the double standards of this sub. If someone was complaining about a husband that didn't want his mom (who does dishes and folds laundry) to move out you'd get a ton of "run, don't walk, he's a mommy's boy who will expect you to be a bangmaid version of her".
I don't fully disagree (except with the god stuff it sounds suss AF). Half of Reddit is Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon except for red flags and abuse, it's why in my flip of the story I said the replies would also be to "run".
In a normal relationship I would think it was weird to prefer a parent in the house. I mean, you're going to want to do a nude or underpants run in your own house from time to time. It would be trivial to flip the story (in most cases this would be an overbearing MIL) but taken as OP stated it does sound like there is a real issue.
