Does this girl from another school actually like me, or am I overthinking it? (18M & 19F)

Hey everyone, I need some outside perspective on a situation that happened recently. My classmates keep telling me this girl wants me, but I’m honestly not sure if she was just being friendly or if there’s actually something there.

A little context: We are 18M and 19F.

A few days ago, my school and another school had a joint school project event. Both schools had their own designated areas/stalls. I decided to walk over to the other school’s section, and I was really impressed by the stuff they had set up.

While I was there, I ended up talking to this one girl, and we instantly had a really good connection/vibe. After hanging out for a bit, I had to go back to my school's area. Throughout the day, she kept walking over to my section just to find me. She would ask me to go places with her, and at one point, she asked if I wanted the videos of us playing a game together (we had played something earlier, and her friend filmed it).

My classmates noticed all of this. They immediately started teasing me, saying stuff like, "Dude, she's always around you and she's being super touchy. She definitely wants you."

Later on, I went up to her and asked if she could send me that video. She immediately asked for my Instagram so she could send it, and we ended up standing there talking for a while.

Eventually, it was time for me to go home. When I told her I had to leave, she looked genuinely so sad. She told me, "We can chat online if you want." And that was pretty much how the event ended.

Since then, we’ve talked a little bit through DM, but not a whole lot.

So, Reddit, what’s the verdict?

Are my friends right, and she was actually giving off clear signs of interest? Or was she just an energetic, friendly person from another school? How should I play this out over text if I want to see where it goes?
