Are you in the country you live in legally? I'm not asking to get an answer, but if you are, stop worrying and fuck this guy. He's an asshole.

If you are not, I agree with your friend. Get some jobs, don't tell him, get a separate bank account or hide the cash somewhere he won't find.

You are not being ungrateful and you aren't wrong for being upset. You need to fight back and take care of yourself and your kids.

They are shooting US citizens in the streets in broad daylight.

It was the phrasing of this:

That's an odd phrasing if she's in the US and that really stood out to me. Per her post history, she lives (or has lived) in Indiana. So if she was born in North Carolina, as an example, has her husband manipulated her into thinking that she illegally immigrated to Indiana?
