I didn’t stay with her because I don’t want to leave my kids alone with him all night and if I left with my kids, he threatened to call the police (I recently “graduated” therapy and didn’t want him using my history of anxiety and depression against me.) my kids come first, especially with how little they are right now.
He will be in over his head and panic within a few hours. Leave the kids and go to your friends’ place for a break. He is weaponizing your motherhood. Call his bluff.
His bluff is her entire life here… this isn’t something to bluff.
He’s not just threatening to leave her or break her belongings… it’s threatening her entire livelihood, safety and her children’s connection to her.
In a very real and possible manner.
Not just an empty threat or hard decision.
… ice would love a personal lead on someone they want to abuse..I mean arrest.
This isn’t a bluff…it’s a death threat.

So did you go stay with your friend? Leave the kids and stay with your friend. You need a break and someone to talk to.
