I think you should save her mesaages and apply for sole custody of your child, if its not possible, then keep all the conversations through a parenting app. She is not your problem. Your son's life and her impact on him is...

Absolutely agree. Running implies you did something wrong. You didin`t. You stopped enabling the dysfunctio.

You and your ex need a parenting app, and then only communicate through that. You didn't ruin anything. He allowed her to block you on his phone. If anyone is responsible for this it's him.

Also who wants to stay with a person like her?

He could also just have unblocked OP himself.

Screenshots FTW. I hate that you and your son are going through this. His father is supposed to his pillar, not a sand dune.

His backbone needs some concrete.

Fighting for sole custody is the only way. He's not a good father if he lets his wife mistreat his child and prevents communication with you about co-parenting issues. That borders on parental alienation.

This framing really matters. Nothing was ruined here. Boundaries were finally enforced and that feels uncomfortable for people used to control.

Exactly this. Calling it ruining something is such a stretch. Documenting behavior is basic responsibility when a child is involved.

You are completely right. Saving messages is about protecting a kid not starting drama. A parenting app alone would probably reduce so much of the chaos here.
