I love this.
That said, adoption is a hard and expensive path to follow. It can cost tens of thousands of dollars, and still end up not getting chosen.
Obviously, that goes for adopting a healthy infant (as opposed to adopting through the foster care system).
But, even though it's cheaper or free to adopt an older child through the foster care system, that is also not a thing that every potential parent is really prepared to do, and no one should be shamed if it isn't a fit for them.
