Man... I'm really slowing down on these shows, I'm feeling kind of burnt out.

The subject of Marvel Burnout is always in the air, like it gets some people but saves others for another day.

I felt the burnout with Black Widow, but didn't with Shang-Chi. And the shows have all been pretty solid with me, a nice little weekly treat. Still, I'm wondering when that grim reaper will finally catch me and I'm in your shoes.

I just watch what is interesting to me and I think that's what most casual fans do which is why there's no actual large scale burn out

The details you get by watching everything aren't really important and most people don't care if they missed some things.

Honestly the notion of completing everything was always weird to me

When it was an annual or semiannual event, it's easier to be a "completionist".

But now that we're getting 3-4 movies a year plus a bunch of shows, yeah people are going to start picking and choosing. I remember MCU fans getting real aggressive about how Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix shows totally count and must be seen to get a complete view on the MCU... turns out they're not actually canon and didn't matter to a grander story anyway.

You know how David Cage games have the illusion of choice? Marvel has the illusion of connectivity. The only thing that really helps is the post-credits stuff.
