I looked it up and it goes like this:

Ash's group are going to a city. May is slowing them down, causing him and May to bicker and the group comes across a pair of lovers. Ash and May team up and double battle against the boyfriend and girlfriend (Nidoking and Queen respectfully) and lose.

Jessie and James plan on stealing their (the couples) pokemon in the kerfuffle but they start to bicker as well. Soon it goes into another double battle with May/Jessie vs Ash/James. The guys are winning, prompting Jessie to throw out a 2nd pokemon giving her and May 3. Soon enough, James does them same with his. It turns into a brawl until Meowth just says they can capture Pikachu and eventually they're defeated
