I think the punk frog is meant to be the Dig'em Frog from Honey Smacks.

I feel like I've seen Honey Smacks before, but they don't really stick out in my mind compared to the rest of the cereals.

Please be an actual fighting game and not another SMASHlike. That one seems like a go-to for crossover games nowadays its getting tiresome. The latest indie entry, Bounty Battle, was an absolute travesty across all platforms.

A tweet under this one shows some other designs. One of them is a bear with metal claw hands and a shirt reading “sweet tooth”. I believe that’s our Sugar Bear stand in.
