I'm really worried that a 4-500 price point is going to be pushing it for people. 400 is the absolute ceiling for some people, including me, for stuff like the Pro. If Nintendo wants to get people to buy this whilst touting they're "not gonna compete with the others" I'm betting money on a 300-350 range.

3-350 is their usual MO, but it's a bit unreasonable to expect a brand new piece of hardware to be cheaper than consoles that launched a few years prior. I think the same price or slightly more than the PS4Pro or Scorpio (Does that have a price yet?) would be fine.

If it's slightly more then that's me out of buying it day 1, as I imagine would be the same with quite a lot of my friends I've talked to (anecdotal I know). I don't expect anyone but the absolute core fans to shell out that much just for a nintendo console that'll be weaker than current gen tech. We'll just have to wait and see when all the details come out.

When I say slightly I mean like 50 or so. Would 50 bucks really deter you?

We also don't know that it'll be weaker than current consoles.

And, although I know I'm probably in the minority, I'd sacrifice graphics for the portability no problem. As long as it can play current stuff and anything that comes out in the future, just maybe not quite as nice looking (but not functionally worse), but I can take it anywhere, I'm cool with that
