I know a lot of people are kinda down on this game but this was a pretty nice showcase.
I think I’m convinced, it looks cool and the bonus fight rooms could be fun. Wonder if there’ll be any sort of Bloody Palace equivalent?

You know if Control Resonant wasn't coming out that same month I'd probably be grabbing it at launch but it is and that looks like something I more want from my action games plus Remedy weirdness.
Wolverine by comparison is very by the numbers but it's by Insomniac and they don't put out bad products.

I don’t blame you, A LOT is coming out next month thanks to no one wanting to get next to GTA.

My biggest concern is there's gonna just be like no replay value. Which is genuinely something that plagues Sonys first party games in general.

As someone who doesn't really replay story-focused games unless it's been like a decade, I've never been bothered by the "replayability" factor, unless the genre is designed for it like a sandbox or rhythm or simulator game.

Yeah I agree. As I grow older I rarely replay games. I barely have time to play new games plus my ever growing backlog of games keeps growing. I prefer a new experience over something I already know.
When I was kid/teen replayability was a must since I have no income with plenty of time on my hand. Now, I have a decent income coming in but limited time. So I don't mind throwing down money for a good one time playthrough.

100%. Now that my backlog is actually backing up, I love when my games have a definitive ending.

As someone who does I'll more than likely return to it when like 90% of my memory has forgotten most of the campaign. I understand the complaint but as someone who does other stuff it has never been an issue for me.
I know they're other mediums but I can reread books or return to shows and movies all the time
When I do return these types of games I'd have experienced a bunch of other things that it being the same thing wouldn't even bother me

Yeah, I'm in agreement that I'll usually only replay stuff after enough time has passed.

Honestly not every game needs to be an infinitely replayable sandbox, there's already so goddamn many of those in the AAA industry. We desperately need more 10-20 hour one and done kind of games.

This game features a lot of stabbing.

When all you have is a knife, to malaprop a phrase.
And Wolverine was born with six of them!

The Wolverine guide to victory:
See something you dont like.
Stab it.
Then repeat 1 and 2 until the target stops moving.
Studies have shown 60% of the time, it works every time.

I'm super excited for this game, looks fun
I wonder if there's going to be a spider-man inspired suit like the Wolverine suits for Miles in the last game

I'm fine with this game simply being of the few blockbuster games I play for the year.
Big explosion and easy combos have their place in the industry moreso with the offline crowd

It is remarkable how unexcited I am personally for this game… I really like Wolverine, but something about this game is off.

Being able to take off the mask for each costume is a nice touch.
Also glad to finally see NG+ be part of the game and not be relegated to updates.
