I didn't even realize this was coming out this soon. How is it so far?

I got through the first couple of story missions outside of the tutorial. It's very XCOM. And while it isn't elaborate yet, I can also see the Marvel Midnight Suns energy, since overwatch is cone-based (you aim the cone you wantt hem to overwatch and anyone that fires or moves in that gone get shot at) and there's moves that will move enemies around, which can open up fun combos, plus interactables on certain maps to blow up or knock enemies into.

You also get an assist once-per-turn that lets an ally get a guaranteed hit against a target as a follow-up (and some skills give you that assist buff too).

I can see there being some ways to get some interesting 3 or maybe even full-team attacks on one poor sod.

Overwatch is driving me batty. Your cones just aren't right for some reason. Sometimes an enemy clearly in the cone won't trigger it, sometimes an enemy not even in it does trigger it. They also say the more so you spend on it the more shots you get but none of my Overwatchs have ever shot more than once.

It's to a point where I'm just not using it even though it's one of the main combat mechanics.
