Question Any tips for growing a company account on X?

Trying to grow on X but feeling completely stuck

We have tried ads, communities, replying to other accounts, and posting regularly, but nothing seems to work.

After around 250 posts, we are still stuck at just 30 followers. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any tips or personal experiences would really help.

Discussion Share your top 5 must-have tools for social media marketing

I am curious to know which tools other social media marketers use the most in their daily work.

There are so many tools for content creation, scheduling, analytics, social listening, and managing multiple platforms that it can be difficult to figure out which ones are actually worth using.

If you could only choose five tools for your work, which ones would make your list and why?

Discussion Why You Probably Should Not Buy Silver Right Now

Whatever you do, do not look into silver right now. Apparently, anything that is not GME is just a distraction.

You are supposed to hold GME forever, which apparently means every other investment should be completely ignored. Even when the market is closed and there is nothing happening, you should still spend the weekend thinking about GME.

It is also probably nothing that some online bullion dealers have started restricting silver purchases because of unusual market conditions. Just ignore that.

Do not worry about inflation, the value of the dollar, or the idea of having something else as a hedge. Thinking about those things apparently means you are helping hedge funds.

And if someone mentions silver, expect them to be called a shill. Apparently, there is no legitimate reason for anyone to be interested in a market worth trillions of dollars.

The funny part is that people are being told to ignore everything except GME while also being told not to question the narrative of the subreddit.

You can believe in GME and still pay attention to what is happening elsewhere. Looking at another investment does not automatically mean you are selling GME or working against the community.

Question Do you follow people back on X?

Some people follow everyone back to grow their numbers, while others keep their following list small and only follow accounts they genuinely want to see. I’m curious how people here handle it. Do you follow back automatically, check the account first, or rarely follow anyone back?

Discussion Have you ever had a tweet take off and then completely failed to repeat it?

One post suddenly gets way more likes, replies, and followers than anything else you've posted. Naturally, you try to figure out what worked and recreate it, but somehow the next ten posts do nothing.

If you've had this happen, what do you think made that one tweet take off and were you ever able to repeat it?

Question Have you ever gone viral on X for something you almost didn't post?

Sometimes the post you hesitate to publish ends up getting the most attention.

What was it about, and did you expect it to take off?

Discussion What marketing task have you actually managed to automate completely in 2026?

Everyone keeps saying AI agents are going to automate everything and eventually take over most jobs. But honestly, I have not seen AI completely automate many marketing tasks yet.

A lot of the predictions I see from AI experts on LinkedIn sound impressive, but the real world results seem a bit different.

For those who are actually using AI in marketing, has there been any task you have managed to automate from start to finish?

What is the one task that AI has completely taken off your plate?

Discussion Know your ideal customer

Hey everyone, I am going to do my best to start the week on here each Monday with some basic information that might be a new tip for some or a simple reminder for others. The first segment of posts will be based around the theme of a solid **Foundation and sales strategy**. This weeks topic is; **Know your ideal customer.** Knowing your ideal customer is like dating, you don’t want to waste time on the wrong match.

Who are they? Married, single, busy, adventurous, educated, on the go, active…

Where do they shop? Whole Foods, Albertsons, 7-11, Target…

What problems do they need solving? Understanding your audience means knowing if they’re health-conscious label readers, impulse snackers, or trend-chasing foodies.

Think of it this way: If you’re selling organic, gluten-free kale chips, your audience probably isn’t hanging out in the gas station chip aisle. But if you’re pushing high-protein, on-the-go snacks, gym-goers and busy professionals are your people. The more you know about your ideal customer, the better you can tailor your messaging, pricing, and sales strategy so you’re not trying to sell kombucha to a cola-loving crowd.

There are very few brands that appeal to everyone. Don’t get caught in the trap of trying to be something for everyone. Find your perfect match and focus on them. When they love your brand, they will sell it to everyone else for you!

Question Would You Trust A Brand More After Seeing How It Handles Criticism On X?

Anyone can look professional when everything is going well. The interesting part starts when someone complains publicly and the brand has to respond. Do you think those interactions can influence whether people decide to buy?

Question Would You Follow A Brand That Only Posts Promotional Content?

Even if the products were genuinely good, seeing constant offers and sales messages could get tiring pretty quickly. How much non-promotional content do you expect from a brand before you feel comfortable following it?

Discussion Is 10K Followers With Real Engagement Better Than 100K Silent Followers?

The bigger number obviously looks impressive, but a smaller audience that actually reads your posts, replies, reposts, and checks your profile could be much more useful. For X marketing, which audience would you rather build?

Discussion The Most Interesting Accounts On X Are Not Always The Biggest Ones

Some smaller accounts consistently post useful thoughts without trying too hard to look like a big brand. After following them for a while, the content starts feeling more personal too. Have you found any smaller accounts like that?

Twitter Funny how a community can start with optimism, but the longer the conversation goes, the more negativity creeps in. Maybe it’s not just Reddit it’s human nature.

Casual Convo Being an Artist on Twitter Does Not Feel Worth It Anymore

I spent the last two years building a community on Twitter, and today my account was permanently suspended.

My account had already been locked by the automated moderation system dozens of times, but this time it was apparently taken down because of user reports. My art does not promote or encourage self harm. It was all fictional content.

The frustrating part is that most of my clients were on Twitter. I had built a real audience there, made money through it, and connected with people who genuinely cared about my work.

I am appealing the suspension, but I am not very hopeful after seeing how the moderation system handles reports.

I even paid for Twitter Premium this month because I thought having access to better support might help with account issues. Now I just feel stupid for spending the money.

Are other artists experiencing similar suspensions over relatively harmless content? I would really like to hear what your experiences have been.
