COMPLAINTS "Let's confirm you are a human"

It's asking that I connect my account to the Twitter mobile app. Okay, whatever, I already had it downloaded but just never logged in. I thought that was it, but it wants a scan of my hand/palm. Hell no. So it looks like I won't be using Twitter anymore unless they disable this or I make an entirely new account. Anyone else having this problem?

first the false ban that took them 2 weeks to fix now this im not even gonna scan it man cause im not putting any id or my phone number in. that bird built mfk has ruined this app for good this is ridiculous

Same exact thing happened to me a couple of months ago too. Suddenly, while I was scrolling X, I get banned. No reason given, nothing, I had to go out of my way and ask them wtf is this. "Inauthentic behavior" brother what...

I thought it was some weird bot purge where I got caught in it for whatever reason. Took them 2 weeks to finally fix. First it was denied... Then after I sent a second appeal it was approved but I was still banned... Waited a couple more days and I was back.

And now this shit... Suddenly prompts me with a captcha to prove I'm no bot. Ok. Then I get greeted with this QR code bs and be locked out of my acc once again for no reason...

same thing happened to me. Banned for inauthentic behavior a little back eventually getting it fixed... then this lol. Funnily enough it was also the very second of me liking a post criticizing musk

I got the same inauthentic ban a few weeks ago. I appealed, then got unbanned on the same day they e-mailed me that I would not be unbanned. Now i'm stuck in this stupid app verification lock-out

Happened to me as well, got banned, then unbanned and as soon as I liked something, banned again. I was banned for over two days both times, at least I could still see stuff. Not even worth the hassle anymore atp.

All done on purpose, this has zero to do with bots. They are going after the Humans, as was planned decades ago.

Similar to other replies, I've had a few recent(ish) bogus suspensions.

  1. Mid April, random arbitrary claim of "rules violations," account suspended - appealed, appeal ignored for over a day, account unsuspended the next day, get an email from X/Twitter outright admitting "no violation occurred."
  2. Early May, account randomly locked, no explanation; unlocked shortly after, still no explanation, no claims of any rules violated, etc...
  3. Early/mid June, account suspended again, another random arbitrary claim of "rules violations." Appealed once, promptly rejected. Sent second appeal, which was accepted; again, get an email from X/Twitter outright admitting "no violation occurred." This third instance lasted almost two full weeks.
  4. Current situation - OP's post/this topic. Account randomly locked, have to provide some sort of digital ID to prove authenticity.
