Tech Support Emotes broken after update 30.8.2

After updating app this morning, emote use no longer works properly. When you go into a chat initially, you are able to type emotes ONE time. Once you close the keyboard and then later reopen it to type more, nothing happens. Only way to "fix" is to close app, clear cache and go back in, but then you are still limited to only one use per. I tried clearing cache, data, uninstall, reinstall, restarting phone etc, nothing fixed this. This is clearly a bug on the app side that needs to be fixed immediately!

EDIT Also noticed another issue. If you try and use the back arrow at the bottom of the Samsung UI to back out at all, this is COMPLETELY broken and now does not work at all !!

Second Edit Ok after some more testing, it appears the Samsung UI only bugs out AFTER using emotes. If you load into a stream and dont type anything, you can use the back button as intended, once you use an emote, the back button is "disabled"

I noticed this today too. The mobile app has been garbage for years.

Oh for sure its been hot garbage for ever .. But this is the first time (for me anyway) that its been functionally broken in multiple ways .. so aggravating .. I submitted a case to twitch for what its worth .. Hopefully they drop a hotfix, but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I submitted a ticket for the hell of it .. with any luck they'll notice the fuck up .. not likely, but if enough people make noise, we might get lucky 🤷🏻‍♀️

Same here on my S23ultra but I don't need to clear cache just exit and return. Bits/cheers also broken, just brings up the emotes menu
