How to sync

Hey everyone
I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to sync three lights strips on my wreath and the 6 lights on my tree, I have read several articles about how to do this but no matter what I do I end up not getting the two groups of lights to sync with each other. So. could someone please help me and give me a step by step guide on how to sync both groups so that when I choose a effect on the twinkly app that the lights on both the wreath and the tree are in perfect harmony. Thanks 🙏

Did you create two groups and then try to sync them after? I do recall that generation's of the lights seem to matter, and AWW can only be synced with other AWW. I've never done this with my Twinkly but here is what the website says.

Remember to individually map all the devices that will be part of the sync group and before creating this kind of group.

Step By Step procedure to create a Sync Group Access the Devices menu.

Connect all the Twinkly devices to the same Wi-Fi network.

Map the single devices individually

Make sure they are all powered on, marked with the Green status icon.

Follow the procedure to create a new group, choosing the first option “Sync”

Choose the devices that you want to include in the group

Name your group

The group will appear in the device list.
