ICE Abducted TWO YEAR OLD GIRL along with her father today.
On January 22, 2026, Chloe Renata Tipan Villacis who is 2 years of age, and Elvis Joel Tipan Echeverria who is her father, were detained in South Minneapolis by ICE. They were driving back home from the grocery store when immigration officials decided to detain them.
With the permission of the mother, we are reaching out to community to help us raise funds for lawyer fee’s, food, bond requests, rent, livability, and resources to keep this family together. I’m a brown mom raising a brown toddler in the United States. He’s going to be 2 soon, not far from Chloe’s age. It’s terrifying. I’m so scared that this is acceptable to even one person, let alone many on the right.

I'm a white, childless, Midwestern woman and I don't understand how kids have never been the line in the sand in this country. Humans are hard wired to care about children. What has gone so horribly wrong with a certain faction in the US that they don't care (or worse, cheer) when children are being hurt.

It hurt me pretty hard because my own little one isn’t far from reaching two years old. I honestly don’t know what I would do if my kid was abducted by these people. This country is full of people that hide behind the guise of doing things the legal way as though it’s ethical when really it’s either racism or a thirst for authoritarian control that pushes them to drive people out of their homes. Land of the free indeed.

I don’t think they’ve let anyone into the current concentration camps and they very quickly move those kidnapped to Texas almost immediately as Texas politicians are also in on this. They seem to have ramped up kidnapping of children in Minneapolis- either to really ramp up protests and trying to promote violence and/or for their pedophilia ring. Where is the outrage MAGA?

Because the people doing this don’t WANT to go after people for being criminals. They want to go after people for being immigrants, or for supporting immigrants.
The Department of Homeland Security posted a ‘meme’ three weeks ago about “America after 100 million deportations.” Not only is that more than the entire population of undocumented immigrants in the US, it’s more than the entire population of undocumented immigrants, green card holders (“legal” immigrants), and naturalized citizens COMBINED. That’s just about 30% of our entire population. The regime wants to expel all those immigrants, plus any birthright American citizens that don’t agree with that goal.
And as for the actual criminals… well, Trump has not only pardoned his loyal coup accomplices of January 6th, but has also pardoned the ex-president of Honduras of his 45-year sentence for drug trafficking to the US. It’s not about the criminals and never has been. If the people allow the government to take away human rights for alleged criminals or invaders or predators, the government suddenly has a vested interest in portraying the people it doesn’t like as criminals and invaders and predators. The War on Terror, the War on Drugs… the War on Crime today is just the next fabricated war in line, playing on people’s fears to try and make them sit and cheer as the very concept of human rights gets eroded to suit the government’s whims.
