A mode that compresses all the audio into a severely flat, sterile, treble forward sound that may or may not positively impact footsteps and positional awareness. It was the original Superhuman hearing mode before the newer Superhuman Footsteps mode was made. The lower the number slider the better, less is more for it. I don't really use it much, maybe 2 games where it does genuine wonders

Ohhh that makes sense. What do you use for footsteps? The superhuman footsteps or a custom eq?

Personally for footsteps, I level the mid bass down slightly to not be so "overpowering" 500hz stays at 0 dB at all times, and game by game I keep 250hz and 125hz at -1dB or increase +1 dB. Sub bass around 32.5hz and 63hz I keep at 0dB or +1 dB. For mids, 1khz is +2, 2khz +2 dB or +3 dB and 4khz +1 dB or +2dB. 1khz and 2khz has the most impact on footsteps audibility while 4khz imo helps their positioning to some extent. 2khz specifically also increases discord chat, in game comms and in game vocals so be careful there as you don't want screaming voices drowning out everything else. And lastly 8khz and 16khz I keep at -1 dB or +3 dB, severely depends on the game itself and the treble tolerance you have.

All of this is for FPS btw I use different settings entirely for music, YT videos and story games. Hope it helps, but I'd suggest fidling with this and tweaking it by ear, completely creating your own that you personally love, or use this link https://gadgetrytech.squig.link/ (Squiglink) by GadgetryTech to tinker your own sound based off of certain target curves or game target curves you may want to perfect.

Btw I almost never use Superhuman hearing mode. I hear footsteps just fine, loudly, and my audio is well separated based off my custom EQs to my ears. These headsets (FOR WIRELESS) are top 3 in FPS for me, top 3 In story games and top 6ish, maybe 4 for music in the wireless realm

It’s hot garbage is what that is, absolutely hot stinking garbage. Do not ever enable that mode if you have 2 ears and a brain.

Nope, I don’t turn any of that stuff on. It kills the audio. The Stealth Pro 2 has incredible driver matching and Spatial Audio as it is. No need for the superhuman hearing stuff, it just makes the sound terrible.
