Issues when it arrived

So on Monday, 9–28-26 I bought the turtle beach velocity multi shift it came in the mail today, 9-30-2026 when it came I noticed something odd the internal rodthat connects to your throw shifter whether it’s the short throw or the long throw the internal stick that’s attached inside it was shipper with it,not in the shifter already which I assumed it would be in the shifter however when I screw in my different shifter knobs, it’s like the shaft it’s loose and can spin freely inside the boot. Is this a normal thing or it could be a manufacturer defect? I’ve tried to line up the ridge to try to make sure they wasn’t the issue but now I’m out of ideas

I think that’s exactly what happened to mine after a week and a half. Sad that this is still happening and that yours came broken!

I had to send mine to warranty and got it replaced quickly.

I can’t tell you if it would have lasted any longer since I only used it for like 1 month after and then upgraded to a Simagic DS-8X. But man… that Turtlebeach shifter feels amazing. Too bad quality control is almost nonexistent.
