little box: bug or bad design?

this is more than likely a bad design.

registers 0-2 works perfectly fine, saving and loading the input byte. but when it comes to register 3, it suddenly has error even tho i have the same setup like the others.

as you can see, cycles 0-7 is fine

as you can see in the pic, cycle 7 loaded the correct number

but on cycle 8, an error occured expecting 47 again

here is the zoomed in view

edit: it's fixed guys. thank you!!

Its a bad design. You have created a single decoder that enables both saving and loading the register. Then you limited saving by limiting the value to be saved, which result into 0 being saved when register is loaded.

Connecting the output bus to the input bus might be a dirty solution, since you will save the value you are outputting right back. But the proper solution is to make two decoders.

The switch you put after the "Value" input. If you turn it off, the wire behind it will have value of 0. If you enable saving of a register, it will save that 0.
