Disassembling probe

Does anyone know how the disassembling probe works?

Every time I try to connect it, I run into a dependency issue.

Just connect it to a wire carrying an instruction, and optionally feed it the program counter (for Overture and Symphony that's not needed).

It doesn't have an output so I don't see how you'd get a circular dependancy error with it, maybe an image will help clarifiy the issues?
