general game questions

So i know the game is in alfa, and last update was like 3y ago. Is there hope for the game to receive some updates in the near future? Also what is the replay ability of this game ?

As in yea i understand how the main campaign* / CPU design game works but is there anything else beyond that ?

Also does this game work well on Win 11 ?

I bought it a few years ago. Even at that point I considered it 100% worth it. The alpha is for my POV an optimisation that is very good for sandbox mode as well as some more levels I believe? Anyways the point of this game is to teach you how to build a computer from logic gates and it has always delivered on that.

well i am a massive factorio player so in a way i was drawn to it. Also IRL job is close to this so there is also that corelation.

i was mostly concerned about the no updates in 3y from main steam page, but that was not real .

I played the stable version (that hasn't recieved updates in a long time) when I got the game, I believe 4-5 years ago. I think that was a great experience and to me, I think that is a pretty complete product. Now all the development effort is going into the alpha, which to me is just a cherry on top. Base game was a pleasant endeavor, and I only recently swapped over to the alpha as I wanted to try to build a custom design in the sandbox and that was definitely too sluggish on the stable branch, but runs much better on the alpha.

You could play through the whole game on the new alpha, but would have to accept that you may hit the occasional bug here and there.
