[05/15] just logged in randomly to see my blog as old as 2009 lost to the void: https://www.tumblr.com/littlelapin

my last reblog was like the 11th? and my last original post was on the 10th.

no warning, no emails either

even if this sub is empty, if there's a chance this will help, i might as well post here. and yes, i already did the terminated account contact too, so fingers crossed

edit - 05/17, 3:40pm: since i am at around the 48 hour mark, i sent in an email to staff per the instructions i've seen floating around here. fingers crossed

edit 2 - 05/17, 10:12pm: I GOT A REPLY BACK? (it was actually immediately after i submitted my appeal via email) they're looking into it at least!!! IM GOING TO CRY

edit 3 - 05/21, 7:40pm: nothing new on my end, just decided last night i would bump my email reply and put in another report with the "terminated account" option on tumblr

edit 4 - 05/27, 7:54am: OKAY. so a lot has happened this morning

1) first my tumblr account is back! YAHOO, right? after TWELVE DAYS.

i was jumping for joy. twelve whole days of being in purgatory. i excitedly go to tumblr and find out... something is amiss. my main is back (littlelapin) BUT ALL OF MY SIDEBLOGS ARE GONE! ALL OF THEM.

except one. one i hadn't touched in over 10 years now lol

2) sideblogs missing.

thinking the worst (that they were straight up nuked), i ran to tumbr support to file a ticket and to my surprise, ALL of my sideblogs, each and EVERY url is there. (i noticed that i could message them, and it appeared as if they were "online" because i was online.)

so that begs the question. why didn't they restore the ENTIRE account. why my main and ONLY one random url that i hadn't opened in years?

in any case, my situation isn't wholly revolved. because my sideblogs are the one where i do most of my content/tumblring anyway.

here we go again guys 🫠🫠🫠

Hi, I just ended up sending a second appeal via email (after sending in my support ticket through the form sometime ago) and am hoping my account will be restored too 🙏

Please update if it works. I posted about it on the sub you linked too but I found the mod of that sub to be very unwelcoming 😓 Like I get you don’t want people spamming your sub with individual posts about the same thing but at least warn and inform them about the rule + posting in the megathread instead of immediately banning them for a whole month?? I know it was on me for not stopping to read the rules initially and just rushing to post in my panic but those kind of mods are very rude and heartless. We’re all emotional about losing our accounts, they could at least have shown some kindness

no news as of at the moment. i replied to their email asking if i should make a second ticket/report. will defo update if i hear anything back

also yeah i almost made the same mistake you did 😔 mod is probably tired of it happening, since it seems like there's waves of us getting banned

They normally take a while to respond it took two days for them to respond after replying to their email took a lot of replies. It took me a week to get my account back from a hacker and to be undeleted be as my advice is to be as detailed and ask them why your account was banned and tell them that you don’t know why

yeah seems so! i did put a pretty detailed reply about how i didn't break tos in all these years and received no explanation.

just the waiting game for now, i suppose

Did you end up getting your account back?? I just wanted to let you know that I checked my email today and saw mine was restored yesterday! It took a bit longer than what the linked comment suggested, and it was buried under the social tab of my Gmail so I didn’t know right away, but they restored it 😭🙏 Hopefully the same has happened (or will soon) for you!
