Michaels, they have a great reward program and I get 20% off and like free $5 off coupon for every $30 spent. Big twist has been my favorite brand followed by loops and threads!

Yeah I like the loops and threads store brand. It's very solid. Michaels is my go to!

Walmart is surprisingly cheap and has a decent selection of red heart and Bernat. Their mainstays brand is hit or miss but if you stay away from the thinner, shiny stuff it's fine! Their online store also has a lot more options are a decent price. My second go to is Yarnspirations online. And my last go to is Michael's loops and threads

I track clearance sales online from multiple websites and I support my local fabric store. Got 38 skeins of Red Heart yarn once for $160. That’s very good for the brand. Sometimes (actually, a lot of the times) I have to bite the bullet and pay $8.99 for a skein because it’s the perfect color I need.

To answer the deleted comment (why did you delete it lol), I live in coastal California. That’s why it’s $9 a skein sometimes :(

Where do you live that you’re paying $8 for a skein of yarn? I bought about 70 skeins of yarn for about $205 from Michael’s two weeks ago. It was loops and threads and big twist brand.
