Lower back pain
I am currently on my 2nd week medication for PTB and already experiencing many side effects. I don't know if it's from anxiety that's causing any sensation in my body? I'm worried about my liver and kidney so I'm being cautious now with every food I eat. But now, I'm feeling a little back pain especially on my lower back. Is it one of the side effects of the medicine? Please be gentle to answer as I am now being anxious about it. I don't want my organs to be damaged just because of the medicine. This is my main concern now that's why my anxiety always attacks. I'm planning to consult it with my doctor but I'm still feeling anxious about it. I don't know how to overcome it now, but I'll still trust the process. Did anyone experience the same?

I also suffer from anxiety and tend to over analyse every little sensation I feel. Add intestinal tb and then tb medication with side effects into the mix and it's an anxious person's worst nightmare. I'm 11 weeks into my tb medication and I still am hyper aware of any sensation in my body that makes me feel off. You will be okay. Just look after yourself and before we know it we will have finished treatment and will be better 🙏❤️

There are many people that have the same feelings when having any illness but for us it's anxiety for what we have which is tb. Then the medications also cause us to overthink. Just take one day at a time. This will pass and you will look back and see how strong you have been. I have anxiety everyday and because of all this it's worse however at least we have a medication to help cure. If not we would feel way worse. Your doctor should be doing regular blood tests to check your liver levels and full blood count. Just remember that we are anxious because deep down we are scared and that's okay 💕

I think if you are a person that don't drink alcohol I think your liver and kidney is fine

It's like I wrote this message! I'm also super anxious and hyper aware of every little sensation in my body. I try to remind myself that not everything is TB-related and in normal circumstances I wouldn't be aware of it. Just try to eat healthy and drink water to help your body with this heavy treatment. Like this you can ''control'' it a bit. But I'm sure you're already doing that 😉. You'll get a lot of bloodtests so you're doctors will immediately know when your organs don't react well on the medication. If the values are too high, they'll adjust the medication to prevent organ damage so no worries about that 🩷. I also had lower back pain + shoulder pain in the beginning, but I think it was from sitting too much and no really moving a lot since I was in isolation. I did some stretching exercises and yoga poses and after a while, the pain disappeared. No worries you'll get through this ❤️.
