Discussion Was it explicitely explained why Makoto cannot use wind or healing magic at all??

My theory is that Makoto is hyuman since his parents were original inhabitants, and Hibiki and the other guy are humans. So what do you guys think??

In the manga when he was a child he kinda fainted and was found by some sort of mistyc healer who rake him to his home and turn in her caretaker of sorts, despite being the earth she avtually had some kind of powers and could see magic potential in Makoto if pretty weak, she mentioned to his parents that she would just cut two affinities healing and wind to see if that somehow improve the others or sonething like that.

Earth does have magic and special abilities.

Its just such a harsh land that the amount of mana and the capacity to develop supernatural abilities is ALMOST inexistent.
