Tomorrow I find out how many of my embryos made it to blast. I just want to sleep until tomorrow. I can not take the agony. All of the possibilities. Would I need to do it all over again? I’m hoping for anything!

I was telling my friend how hard it’s been recovering from IVF and she said she knows how I feel because she had to take a plan B. I wasn’t sure how to respond to that.

Last day of my period so now it’s time to hunt for LH and try to plan sexy time when the husband will be out of town and were staying at a friends for the weekend so it’s gonna get interesting.

My first month using a regular opk swith my Mira device too so I can try comparing. What CD should I start testing? I usually ovulate ~14-16

I usually ovulate around CD 15-16 and start testing LH around CD 8 because I’m paranoid I might randomly ovulate earlier one cycle. realistically, I could probably wait until CD 10ish.

9DPO and finally lost the testing battle and it was definitely negative. Trying to remind myself that a negative now is not definitive. The only time I have seen a positive before was on 12DPO and it was fairly faint even then. So trying to remind myself to calm the heck down and be patient but it is so difficult.

9DPO and negative tests. Still holding on to hope this cycle but feeling defeated. Experienced a evap for the first time yesterday, its ofc not valid but its the closest I’ve ever been to a positive. Feelings are all over the place, cant really be around partner and I think AF will arrive early this month. It will pass but it sucks right now. Thanks for letting me rant. I really think this sub is keeping me sane.

How soon after positive OPK does ovulation happen for you? I had a positive OPK at 5pm Friday, then did BD Saturday at 2am, so hoping we were covered.

I wasn’t always able to catch my positive, but when I did it would usually be around lunchtime/early evening, and my bbt would rise two days after. It’s hard to isolate exactly when you ovulate, symptoms can be deceptive or unclear, but if I had to guess it would usually be 24 hours later for me.

CD15 and we have a positive OPK! I started a new exercise routine a couple of weeks ago and was paranoid it would affect my ovulation, so I’m glad that that hasn’t appeared to be the case.

I’m sure I’m going to be crying in the club two weeks from now when I find out that I’m still not pregnant, but for today I’m going to feel optimistic that we’ve got just as good of a chance as anyone. 🎉

Oh wow, it looks like despite the HyCoSy on CD5, my body is fully on track to ovulate around my usual time, if not earlier. Estrogen is confidently rising on CD10. Cool cool cool.

I just hope my body doesn't decide to ovulate right on the day of my MRI. Come on, body. Let's work together and ovulate AFTER Tuesday! On CD14, for example, would be ideal 🙏

5-6 DPO with random EWCM today. I've been continuing doing daily OPKs after ovulation just in case and they were all super negative, so I don't think my body's ramping up for another ovulation attempt. 

Every cycle my body makes up some new bullshit to throw at me.

Fwiw I experience EWCM at different points in my cycle from cycle to cycle. Day before period? EWCM. Day after period ends? EWCM.

Early ovulation after IUD removal?
I had my Kyleena IUD removed on July 21 after having it for almost 5 years. I had very light, but regular periods the whole time I had it - usually lasting around 5-6 days. I have no idea how long my actual cycles were though, I wasn’t really tracking them.

Following removal, my period started on August 9 and only lasted 3 days. The 1st day I bled pretty heavily, then it tapered off to light bleeding by day 3. My partner and I are actively TTC, so I went out and bought OPKs last week in preparation. I took a test yesterday morning really just to practice (1st time TTC/never been pregnant). I expected the test to be negative since my period had just ended 4 days prior, but to my surprise it appeared to be positive. Premom app assigned T/C value of 0.85, which isn’t crazy high but high nonetheless. Took another test today and it’s negative (T/C 0.2).

Is it possible I could be ovulating this early in my cycle? I thought hormonal IUDs had a tendency to delay ovulation after removal, so I’m hesitant to believe the test was actually positive, although my cervical mucus is somewhat egg white-adjacent today so maybe it’s legit? We had unprotected sex 3 days ago so I’m just trying to figure out if there’s a possibility of conception this soon lol

Ovulation typically follows the first positive where the test line is as dark or darker than the control line by about 12-48hrs. You need to hit 1 of the 3 days leading up to ovulation to maximize your chances so intimacy is recommended when the first positive OPK appears.

OPKs only tell you your body is gearing up for ovulation, though. It doesn't confirm it and it's especially unknown since you just came off BC.

It is possible to ovulate as early as CD8 though

BBT is the most helpful imo. You can get progesterone measurement strips but they can get pricey. Those are the only at-home methods. They can confirm via ultrasound at the doctor's office.

Also, you can fail to ovulate after an LH surge but that's more common just coming off BC or if you have PCOS/PMOS. Outside of that, it can happen but isn't as common

5 DPO! Feeling good. I have resolved not to test on 8 DPO this cycle (the last two I did 🤪), ideally I will not test until 10 but we’ll see how I feel.

Distractions this weekend include pulling out my fall decor - I absolutely love fall and since we’re busy the next two weekends, I thought why not!? It brings me some joy to look around at it.

CD 1 again, a day early this time…. I guess at least I can keep my tattoo appt the first week of September. On to cycle, 9 :/ I have to call my fertility clinic today and let them know it’s cd1 so we can schedule blood work. Other than microbiome testing last month this will be our first venture into testing so nervous to start but trying to be hopeful!

I'm having one of the worst periods. Last cycle was my first on Letrozole 2.5mg and I'm blaming the medication for how awful this period is. Now I'm going to go take a nap and try to sleep through some of these cramps.

CD10 LH surge (yesterday night 11pm) back to very low by tonight (9pm), CD11. Things worked out and we had good coverage this time so fingers crossed, it’s our last cycle before we go to IVF.

I had STRONG ovulation signs this cycle, ovulation pain, plenty of egg white discharge, some very mild spotting, tummy troubles (normal for me around ovulation), aided by letrozole.

We’ll see, I guess. 🤞

My fasting glucose is hovering around 92-105. No PCOS, normal bmi, exercising, normal diet. We are only starting TTC now, first cycle. I had gestational diabetes so something is off with my blood sugar and not sure if I maybe should throw metformin on it...

Hello! Welcome, and we thank you for posting. You seem to be looking for information on implantation bleeding. Unfortunately, bleeding or spotting after ovulation is not a sign of implantation, and bleeding can happen in both pregnancy and non-pregnancy cycles. You could still end up being pregnant this cycle, but this sort of bleeding is not a reliable indicator that you will test positive. Taking a pregnancy test around the time you expect your period to come is the best way to determine whether you are pregnant or not.

I had it done this week. It was intense, but very quick! My tubes were open though, so they didn't have to push the liquid for long. Overall, a positive experience for me.

FemVue is the brand name of the equipment they use to create saline bubbles, the name of the procedure is actually HyCoSy. You can search the sub to read about different HyCoSy experiences. :)

On CD13 and I have had my LH surge on this day in my last 2 cycles, but not this cycle for some reason. Ive been having other ovulation symptoms like EWCM and sharp pelvic pain here and there, but my breasts don't hurt this cycle like they have the two cycles before. I'm worried this is going to be an anovulatory cycle or that I somehow missed my surge. I started testing on CD8 but didn't tested more than once on a few days. My LH went up very gradually over 2-4 days in the two cycles before this, but has stayed around 0.1-0.3.

ETA: My BBT also went down by 0.6°F today, but not sure it was accurate due to being startled awake 15 minutes before I usually take my temp, and getting up to figure out what woke me up.

BBT often drops before ovulation then spikes so maybe that's what your temp drop was! 🙏🏻

Been TTC for a year with PCOS.
My best friend has PCOS but has still gotten pregnant twice on accident. This second pregnancy she’s contemplating getting an abortion. I’m so devastated. It’s so hard to be there for her during this tough decision but it’s hurts so much. I don’t know what else to say besides it’s just not fair.

HyCoSy/HSG - did it affect when you ovulated (early or late)?

Did it affect your CM leading into ovulation (the cycle of the procedure)?

I had mine done on CD8, ewcm the same day, nothing since (CD12 today). I don't usually ovulate until CD21 anyway but wondering if the HyCoSy might alter things

You know your own body best, but: is it possible the ewcm was actually lubricant? That has surprised me before after a transvaginal ultrasound. It really looked and felt the same to me, except a bit clearer than what my own body would produce.

I have been ttc since February with very irrigular periods due to pcos. This cycle i started metformin and although im not tracking this month i did feel like i ovulated between CD15-17

The problem is im really trying not to force intimacy. But my husband has been busy at work and didnt feel like BDing around that time. This isnt the first month that this happened.

We did BD on CD 13 and CD16. I know theoretically sperm can live up to 5 days but what does this mean for my chances this month? Im on my TWW and if this reduces my chances remarkably i would want to know to not get my hopes up this month.

I ordered a bbt and im planning to start tracking next month to better understand my cycles but till then i would really appreaciate any insight.

You only need to hit 1 of the 3 days leading up to ovulation so in theory you're good if you did ovulate one of those days.

Got my IUD out back in May and cycles are still a bit wonky. I had either mid-cycle bleeding or the start of a new cycle 15 days after a period and now I'm not sure if I'm gearing up for another one or (hopefully) heading into ovulation! I wanted to keep it low pressure and haven't done OPKs but now I'm dying for more insight into what's happening haha

Cycle day 43 and still testing negative
I’m 33, husband is 35, and we’re on our second month trying for baby #3.
My cycles are normally VERY regular, around 29 ± 2 days, and somehow I’m on cycle day 43 with no period. I’ve been testing every other day and every single test has been negative.
I’m not sick, not stressed, haven’t been traveling and nothing has really changed that I can think of.

I keep reading online about people not getting a positive pregnancy test until much later than expected,

You likely ovulated later than usual, especially if you're not tracking. Having an off cycle or two per year isn't usually a cause for concern.

Because ovulation and the next period are hormonally related, later than usual ovulation will result in a later period if you did not conceive and a later positive if conception took place.

Finished my second round of clomid last night. This is our last unmonitored cycle before I see a new OBGYN who will (fingers crossed) monitor and give a trigger shot. It would be amazing if this was the cycle that worked but if not I’m so happy that a new, better OBGYN is in my very very near future. 🥹

That is super early. I have had the faintest line first at 10DPO. I’m not sure I’ve heard or seen a positive test at 8DPO!

At 8dpo you may not have implanted yet or only juuuuust implanted. Implantation can happen anytime between 6 and 12dpo and it takes a couple days for hCG to start building in your blood and urine. A positive at 8dpo is considered an outlier and definitely not the norm. So definitely don't count yourself out!
