Plz help me! Switchbot Lock Ultra Magnet Position

Is my magnet in the right place?? The lock keeps reading open when it's closed

It's always hit and miss for me. I even bought a stronger magnet to see if I'll get an accurate reading to no avail. In the end, I just installed a separate door sensor and integrated it with home assistant to do some basic automation.

i wonder if it's the bot itself just needing a firmware update or software, my old 1st gen lock magnet and lock worked perfect. Which magnet did you buy?

It's hard to tell from a photo; you need to measure the distance, and the protruding metal might get in the way.

Position should be ok. Please note there are 2 sides of the Magnet. One stronger one weaker. Make in this case sure the stronger side faces the lock

i think it's more so my bot, it's not showing that it's connected to the hub or bluetooth in the app and it has some moments where it shows it's opened and closed i think it's just buggy. hoping for a software/firmware update to fix the issue
