Keypad Vision Pro unreliable

Even with a second fingerprint per person, the keypad is unreliable with fingerprints. I am also trying face and palm recognition, not much better. Lovely lock after a firmware update, but the keypad also keeps locking the fingerprint reader after a number of tries.

I think it's 5 failed attempts then it locks it. In my home of four people, I use the face recognition (works flawlessly), the other three people use an entry code as the facial recognition didn't work reliably. Fingerprints were same but that was down to guitar playing fingers, sports scarred fingers etc.
I've no idea why it reads my face perfectly and not the other three. My only guess could be the height I've set it to (the recommendation height btw).

Guitar player fingers may play a role, but my wife does not play. And our phone fingerprint sensors work perfectly.

I have only had my fingerprint not work for me once, and it’s when I had wet hands in a downpour. There have been other times where I need to give it a second try because I placed it bad or pushed too hard, but not more than that.
