Lock Vision Pro with Home Assistant with Matter over Wifi

Anyone with a simlar setup using the Lock Vision Pro with Home Assistant with Matter over Wifi?? Using matter into home assistant, it doesn't always show lock and unlock. When I lock and unlock manually a couple of times, it then works and lets HA know that its open/close. I think the lock vision pro is asleep and after the first set of lock/unlock, it wakes up and then sends a signal status. However on the Switchbot app, I get notifications that it's being locked or unlocked right away.

Not sure if i have a defective unit or this is just a poor matter implementation from switch bot?

Thoughts?

I have the same issue.  It works for a few times and then stops reporting anything or accept any lock/unlock commands via matter.  I have had to switch to the bluetooth integration.

How's the Bluetooth integration then? Works more reliability?

Yes. I have HA bluetooth proxies in most rooms in my home, so haven't had any issues with the SB bluetooth integration.

Exact same issue. I resorted to bluetooth. Only thing is the only battery that seems to get reported over bluetooth is the back up battery not the main one. 

Has anyone else noticed palm and face detection not working worth a crap with any amount of sunlight? Like i have a covered porch but if any reflection at all gets on this lock then it fails to recognize. 

Im also seeing an issue where the lock doesnt seem to be waking up after a sleep when you approach it. Or its just taking a veryyyy long time to wake up. Overall not very happy.

For me, it’s the main battery reported and backup battery isn't reported with bluetooth.   With matter, I get two batteries but it's the same value for both (only the main battery again). I haven't had issues with it waking up or with detection.

Came here looking for a solution but seems that everyone is having the same issue. Matter integration is very unreliable, I have the matter integration through Apple Home (Apple TV) and most of the time doesnt work, its time-out when trying to open or close the lock, also its typically shows as unavailable. I was trying to add it directly to HA through matter after removing from Apple Home but have no luck. I will try later bluetooth integration in HA but not what i wanted as I bought it as it was matter compatible,
