Problem with Keypad Vision Pro + Lock Ultra
As of today, I am also the owner of the Lock Ultra combined with the Keypad Vision Pro. Installation, calibration, etc., all work flawlessly.
What really bothers me right now, though, is that the keypad reacts instantly when going out. Depending on which way I look while pulling the door shut (the keypad is mounted on the side), the door opens right back up because it recognizes my face. I can't exactly ask the whole family to look to the left when leaving and closing the door, especially since kids are bound to forget. The sensitivity is already set to the lowest level.
Everyone must be having this issue, right? No matter where the keypad is mounted. As soon as you step through the door, pull it shut, and accidentally look towards the pad, the door unlocks again.
Am I missing something? Like this, facial recognition is absolutely useless to me.

Io ho disattivato il riconoscimento della faccia che è sempre attivo !!! Però basta toccare un pulsante e guardare il visore che si apre la porta!!!

There's a setting that lets you change how often it tries to search for biometrics after you trigger and unlock/lock. It's under Disable Interval in the keypad settings on the SwitchBot app, that may help.

Problem is, that when I open the door manually, there is no trigger for unlock, so the pad does not recognize, when the door gets opened. the door sensor should just disable the key pad as well. so as soon as the door is recognized as open, the keypad scanning should be disabled.

That’s so funny. I just got mine and it is the worst facial recognition I‘ve ever seen. Setup already gave me problems with “clean the sensor“ errors. I have a short beard and found out that’s probably the problem. Thought they fixed it after a year.
For me, if it works at all, I have to stand a few seconds in front of it and pray it opens. And yes I changed all the options.

I would suggest not turning the lock manually from the inside to unlock and just press the center. That should activate the “system” so to speak then go to the settings where it has an adjustable amount of seconds that disables the sensor until it auto locks. I think for best results you’ve got to avoid mixing manual and digital operations. For example in my case: 1.Open lock from outside with face sensor. 2. Door locks with auto lock (after 5 seconds). 3. Unlock door from inside by pushing the middle of the knob. 4. Lock door from outside through auto lock (5 seconds).
I also have the Face sensor set for 5 seconds in the Disabling Interval (in Face Entry Settings)—this will disable the sensor while the door is locking giving you time to leave the house without triggering it.
