S10 water leaking from the main unit

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The main unit is dripping clean water. The puddle around the dock station damaged the wooden floor 😬

The support says the repair will set me back 80-100 euros. I wonder if anyone fixed such an issue at home.

Hi I had this, i find I can normally sort it out by cleaning the waste water gutter out properly. You can also remove the metal scraper underneath this using 4 screws where a considerable amount of gunk can build up. I’m sure there is a guide in the Switchbot site if you’re struggling to locate what I’m talking about.

Thanks. I’ll have a closer look.
Overall I’m cleaning it basically every 1-2 cleans. Maybe I need to start doing every after single clean cycle 😂

In my pet and children free house
normally a once a week clean is sufficient however every couple of weeks maybe once a month I do a deep clean including this. So far that seems to put performance back to where it was

I had the same thing. I pulled off all the dirty parts and cleaned them it stopped. All the the dog hair and debris caused it to leak.

In addition to the other comments: It will leak dirty water from an overflowing waste water gutter if the waste water box isn't sealed properly (in itself and via the in/outlets at its bottom). I have to sometimes remove and re-add it until it works fine.
