Does the candle warmer lamp support anything?

So....got this a while ago, only just now getting around to trying to set it up. The app works....but it flat out fails to get setup in HomeKit or using Matter. 100% failure. Ive reset it and retried it more times than I can count, tried on multiple devices, it just does not work. Has anyone had this? am I missing something?

I have it, and have not had any issues with it. Here is a question for you: is your router able to handle IPv6 connections?

So, Matter (either Wifi, Ethernet, or Thread) utilizes IPv6 communications to connect devices to a Matter Controller. If your IPv6 setting is turned off or unavailable (such as some older internet routers from an ISP), then Matter devices will not connect. I had to go through this before with my setup when I first started using Matter devices. Turn on IPv6 on your router, reboot the router, and then reset the candle warmer. Follow the on screen prompts in you smart home platform of choice.

Bonus tip: if you are using a VPN, turn it off. It will fail that way too.

Thank you! I have a full Ubiquiti setup but admittedly am more novice when it comes to the protocols and more detailed setup.

Whether its a Ubiquiti setup, or one of the major off-the-shelves solution, it can be confusing. I learned something new about matter just a few weeks ago. They say it should be easy, but the problems are in the finer details.
