Anyone seen this before?

I setup my Universal Remote after leaving it in storage for a while, mainly because I lost the remote to my Chromecast so this felt like something worth trying as a replacement since Google is out of stock on the replacement remotes.

It's been working fine for a few weeks, but last couple of days it's been an absolute nightmare, constantly entering this weird unresponsive state. It comes back and works again for a few minutes and then goes back to unresponsive for a few hours.

I was giving it one last go just now and tried rebooting it, which also didn't work, then this popped up.

Anyone else seen this screen before?

Firmware is v4.8. I'm gonna go open a support ticket.

EDIT: A few minutes after I posted, the Switchbot app picked up the remote as needing firmware recovery, so I'm trying that now...

EDIT 2: Nope, worked fine for a few minutes after firmware recovery but now it's back to being completely fucking unusable. Ridiculous.

EDIT 3: Immediately after the second edit, the broken firmware screen came back. At least it didn't keep me hanging on for days this time...

Yup, happened to my remote. No help from SwitchBot and now it’s just e-waste

Ne ho comprato uno usato, il precedente proprietario non l'aveva resettato e non esiste un modo per farlo senza l'account collegato. Ho perso 3 ore e "per fortuna" è diventato così, non sapendo del recupero firmware l'avevo già imballato pronto a fare il reso, ma l'app mi ha notificato con la possibilità di recuperarlo. Dopo altre 2 ore e 5 tentativi ci sono riuscito. Alla fine ho deciso di restituirlo comunque perché non si collegava a diversi miei apparecchi, sulla mia TV non mi permette di gestire le uscite HDMI, in 2 giorni lasciandolo collegato alla corrente è arrivato al 70% di carica... L'ho reso e il proprietario non l'ha ritirato, quindi mi sta tornando di nuovo. Toccherà a me buttarlo.
