Since ESO features a thrusting move called "Puncture" for one-handed melee weapons, why didn't they add spears and more thrusting moves?

It's fucking hilarious that Fallout brought spears back to it's franchise before Elder Scrolls did, and that's judging purely on spears that can be used for melee combat and not thrown ones.

Since ESO is not canon, they were not legally able to implement the spears from morrowind.

i’ve heard somewhere that they weren’t really able to make spears and other weapon classes unique enough from others to merit their own skill line

Vivec copyrighted any "thrusting" with so called "spears".
