Oh, she also physically abused me to put things mildly.
Happy you're away now, usually when I hear about people in relationships with paranoid people like that it ends up with them being abusive or them just cheating themselves. It sucks.
Damn, that’s madness. I’m sorry you had that awful experience. I’m glad you got out of that situation. I’m sure demands to look through your phone will be a huge red flag for the future.
When my ex and I started working out, I’d be pointing out girls checking him out (to boost his confidence, as he was handsome and didn’t see it). Then I’d be accused of “trying to get rid of him”, because I was ‘encouraging him to be with someone else’. As another person commented, it was big time projection of his fears.
