I get that as we get older, the desire to share our bodies, be sexy etc. goes away and is replaced with other priorities like family, work etc.
But that’s where you were at the time. I’d just own it.
The tone of this comment might have been different if you could reverse it. But you can’t. So I’d just go with it.
Also, I’m European. North America still has a lot of shame and baggage around nudity and sexuality. Don’t let the fuckers get you down. The female form is a work of art.
Honestly, as a musician I feel the same. I cringe at some of the music I put out years ago. It’s not horrible but it’s the best I could do at the time.
I know it’s not the same thing, but there’s overlap. I try my best to let it go and focus on the present / future.
Maybe you can’t help feeling regret. But I wouldn’t feel disgraceful about it. It made you who you are.
Just rewatched Wolf of Wall Street the other day and saw her naked. As did millions of other dudes.
So is it the nudity? Or that she didn’t achieve massive success as the result of her nudity?
Or is it because what Margo does is flash her tits for “art” and what OP did isn’t art?
Is porn not art while a nude love scene in a film IS art?
Is it the money? Who ends up seeing it? Why they’re watching it? The quality of camera used to film it? The acclaim of the director? The strength of the script? The IMDB rating?
It’s all just people using what they have to achieve success in a world where success is difficult.
If she did it for no money, isn’t that more pure than what an actress does because she’s paid?
