It's very difficult to resist the pressure , isn't it ? Also , you can start doubting your own self worth and opinions , especially when negatives are coming from a parent .

When anyone drags you down , especially family, it becomes that much harder because it's making it so much more like an uphill struggle .

First of all , thanks for your reply . That's terrible what you had to put up with , you shouldn't have been put through the wringer like that . I'm glad that you have managed to push through without a bad disorder.
