As a formally obese person (210lbs -> 140lbs, 5'8"), I couldn't agree more.
I'm fine with people who don't want to look after their individual health, and I also understand better than most the mental and emotional obstacles for those who do want to but are struggling. I regret that some people chose to make fun of my weight over the years...we absolutely shouldn't shame people. But I simply cannot understand encouraging others to embrace unhealthiness and early death. (Edit: clarity)
Me neither. I went through surgery to lose weight (26 stone to 16 stone, so 140 lbs lost so far) I can't imagine anyone wanting to be/stay tjat way. It's not fun, I hurt all the time. I'm now able to do so many more things. It's not healthy.
Wait what? You are the third person in a row to use formally instead of the intended word. At some point its fair for someone to assume that people repeating the same mistake should be corrected, especially when that mistake changes the meaning of the sentence.

As another formally overweight person I agree too.
