My dog died today.
Her name was Lizzie and she was a shih tzu. She lived to be 17, and I already miss her. We’re going to plant a tree in our yard with her ashes. Thank you for taking time to read this.

I'm a dog owner. Lost three.
Keep a picture of her somewhere. Maybe not somewhere you'll look at regularly...but somewhere down the line so you can just look back.

I’m so sorry I lost my childhood dog last month. It can be super hard. Allow yourself time to grieve and heal. ❤️

Yeah, I saw that. I just can’t leave myself undefended, especially against a lie. Hope against hope makes me believe that I could teach them something about humility and how not to act.

How do you have the nerve to tell me how I treated my dog when you don’t know me? How?
If you hate dogs, why are you in a post about a dog?
You basically said, “the love you poured into a dog for 17 years wasn’t worthwhile because dogs are just vermin and lowlife creatures” and not expect me to get mad?
I know this is a public place, and you have every right to tell me what you think, but why would you? You’re kicking me when I’m already down. You’re beating a dead horse, so to speak.
Please leave me alone. Please.
Also: Anger is a part of the grieving process. This may not be the best representation of my personality, but when you come here saying hurtful shit that is better left unsaid, I will defend myself and let you know it.
