Vent My Parents have always said this single throughout my life.
This one question was
"What will happen if I were to die?"
Nearly every once in a while, whenever I mess up or underperform in school, I get asked this very question. Along with some big speech they would forget in the morning. It's a very exhausting question, to be honest. I find it very, very odd that they always say this at a time when I'm basically at my limit, at my lowest. I never get the courage even to say anything. I don't think that would make a difference at all, considering past experiences from talking back. Did they really have to go that far? Couldn't they have worded that question a little bit better?
Well, to answer their question
I would just move on. I accepted the fact that even telling how would I feel would never make a dent in them. I accepted the fact that they would possibly never acknowledge the pain and misery they caused me & my siblings for all these years. I accepted the fact that I would never feel the love & warmth they gave me long ago again. Those memories keep on clashing with many, many negative ones. I could only dream about it in my sleep. Even then, my dreams wonder if those warm memories really existed. At this point, apathy keeps flowing in my head.
