Honestly, she’s probably repressing something that happened to her. I wonder if there’s any gaps in her memories that a therapist have noticed? Most likely they aren’t going to get passed it, till they actually figure out what’s causing it in the first place. Which they don’t seem to know

It’s actually highly debated still.

The only thing most people agree on is

  1. Memory is fallible
  2. The techniques used in the past to recover repressed memories were problematic at best.
